The crop top has been a very prevalent trend this early summer among the celebrity masses. This trend comes around again every few years or so and each time it does I look at all the designs and wish I could wear at least one.
I must admit though that I don’t think I ever could. To wear a crop top you have to be quite body confident, which I’m really not, but I know that lots of ‘bigger girls’ out there are – so why shouldn’t you be able to follow this trend too? Well you can! Forever21 has a whole range of really funky crop tops to choose from.
Now, these crop tops were designed for plus size girls with flatish stomachs still so they only go up to a size 14 or 16 – just a pre-warning so you don’t get prematurely exciting.
Forever21 Plus Size Crop Tops
So this crop is perfect for the summer holidays. At only £4.50 this Tropical Floral Crop Top features a leafy design in various shades of green on a black background – very exotic. Paired with some smart bottoms this would make a lovely evening holiday look.
This is the £8.75 Well Traveled Off-The-Shoulder Crop Top. I really don’t think that the misspelled ‘well travelled’ is a good descriptor for this lovely design. It’s clearly Aztec inspired which is always a popular design and mixed with a monotone black and white colour scheme, another really popular trend at the moment, the top becomes quite classy.
This navy Striking Laser Cut Crop Top at £12.75 is also a really smart option, perfect for a night out on the town. The lace cut outs add some sexiness to an otherwise really simple, structured design.
For a touch of class then you should go for this polka Dotted Off-The-Shoulder Crop Top. At only £6.13 teaming this top with a pair of flared black would great for a slightly dressy event.
So this Raglan Crop Top can be casual or it can be very easily dressed up with something like a long colour pop skirt or even a pencil skirt and some statement jewellery. At £6.40 it’s a steal.
For £8 you could go for this very bright and perfect for a party Abstract Off-The-Shoulder Crop Top.
So I’m curious to know whether you could see yourself wearing any of these? Would you be confident enough to do it?
